I believe the mysterious Tulare Boulder which has recently been placed in front of your city hall is one of the most significant Historical artifacts in eastern South Dakota. The Heartland Historical Society is highlighting the Tulare Boulder on the cover of the 50,000 free maps which will be distributed throughout east central S. D. soon.
The boulder will be one of the five primary representations from Spink County on the map. With Historical tourism being such a strong aspect in economic development around the United States, We believe this map, which presents our exciting and interesting history will play a large part in packaging it for tourism Development and promotion throughout the Heartland Region of South Dakota. The region includes all twelve counties within the area of Lower Brule Reservation, Faulk County, Clark County, Miner County, back to Lower Brule.
You will undoubtedly want to highlight The TULARE BOULDER on your Web Page. Please give me a call, You may also like to use the map cover page somehow in your Web presentation.
Sincerely,
Ivan L. Loesch, Pres.
